Product Info.

In 2006, after at least 10 trips to Ghana beginning in 1985, Ur Aua Hehimetu Ra Enkamit, son of Lee Cook, grandson of David Cook(e) Sr., great grandson of Samuel Cooke and great great grandson of Edmond Cooke, through DNA testing discovered his “Paternal Ancestry” comes from The Nkonya people located in the Volta Region of Ghana.

Over those 21 years Ur Aua (Paramount King) of the Washington DC Traditional Area of the Ausar Auset Society, under the auspices of Shekhem Ur Shekhem (King Great King) Ra Un Nefer Amen of Ausar Auset Society International, had coordinated the Society’s activates in Ghana which included the following: a) donation of more than $200,000 of computers, educational and medical equipment and supplies, b) scholarships for children in the Agogo Traditional Area, c) more than $16,000 of contributions to Education Funds in Asin Manso (Central Region), Agogo, and Kumasi, d) the contribution of 20,000 seedlings for the reforestation of the Agogo area and e) $17,000 in contributions for the Agogo Community Library currently (July 2007) under construction.

Additionally, Ur Aua had adopted two children from the northern region he had met in Agogo, one of which he brought to the U.S. to attend the University of the District of Columbia (graduate May 2007).

Since 1982, The Ausar Auset Society International has hosted or visited a number of Ghanaian Kings including The Asantehene Opoku Ware II, The Asantehene Osei Tutu II, Agogohene Nana Akuoko Sarpong, Togbi Adelzaz, Ewe King of Kings; Nii Amugi, Ga King of Kings; Adescayo Ado Dankwa III, Akwapem King of Kings, and Barima Kwame Nkyi, Paramount King of Asin Manso.

Interestingly, even after all that contact with Ghana, Ur Aua had only been to the Volta Region once and had never heard of Nkonya.

This video documents Ur Aua’s first visit to Nkonya. Witness the splendor of the Culture, the Majesty of African Kingship, the Enstoolment of Ur Aua as Nana Kweku Yobba Oboapo I (a Wednesday born male who had left and returned to help), Abontendomhene of the Nkonya Traditional Area, and hear the Prophesy foretelling his arrival.
